  1. Congratulation Steve Shaya
    You really deserve this city.
No one is more qualified to run this corrupt city more than you.

  2. Congratulations, guest, on being yet another yellow dog coward who throws stones from behind the wall of anonymity.
You really deserve no respect of your opinion.

  3. Shaya is clearly a bad choice whether it’s removing imaginary trees or imaginary street salting.

  4. Manholes disappearing all over the city, street lights front caniff to carpenter on joseph campau and on caniff OFF for more than a week. A great DPW director for sure..if it was not for political games he would have never been appointed after being fired for misusing the same dept. he is going to run now.

  5. From my experience working within the police department, Mr Shaya is doing a wonderful job. Our Code Enforcement Officers are held more responsible and are issuing more violation. At a moments notice he is available for down trees or abandoned homes board ups. He has done more in the past few months than previous DPW directors. Good luck and good job Steve.

  6. Let’s hope they give a contract similar to other dept. heads, and not let “some” council persons award him a “special contract”.
