After lurking around the old glass building on Denton for more than an hour one day, I decided to hike along the south side of the train tracks from Joseph Campau.
There is still some train-related junk in the yard, such as these “durable rumping posts” by the Mechanical Mfg Co in Chicago. I asked the Economic Development Director about ownership, and the parcel on the corner is owned by the city. It may be the site of a passenger train station some time in the future. (No joke!)
