Thanks to the generosity of our Knights of Columbus, the Hamtramck Heights Community Garden broke ground last Saturday. Membership in the Detroit Agriculture Network is providing seeds, soil testing, soil, and seedlings. Volunteers removed some invasive trees, repaired fences, and cut sod in preparation for the garden.
Anyone interested in participating is invited to meet on Saturday at 2 behind the Knights of Columbus at 9632 Conant St, Hamtramck.
